We run our financial advisory business differently than most. Here’s why that’s important to you:
We work as an independent registered investment advisor. We are not an advisor of, or owned by, a brokerage firm or insurance company. We are completely independent from any outside influence.
Bottom Line: We are not driven by sales quotas. We work for you. Our independence allows us to provide unbiased advice.
“Fee-Only” means we do not accept commissions, referral fees, company kickbacks, or other incentives for the advice we provide. All of our compensation comes from our clients in a direct and fully-disclosed manner.
Clearly this is different than a commissioned-based salesperson. Maybe not so obvious is when someone is “fee-based” though. Fee-based typically means they charge fees AND collect commissions. Remember, Fee-Based is not Fee-Only.
Bottom Line: Since we have removed commissions, etc. from the equation, we have no incentive but to offer you our best advice.
We accept fiduciary responsibility by acting in the best interest of our clients, and putting those interests ahead of our own. Although you may assume all advisors do this, many brokers/advisors will not, or are not allowed, to hold themselves out as a fiduciary.
Bottom Line: You can trust us to work in your best interest.

We have almost 20 years of experience as a financial advisor. We've worked at brokerage companies and fee-based advisory firms, but ultimately transitioned to fee-only as we felt that was a better approach. We have been fee-only for over 15 years.
It is easy for advisors to say they are "client focused". We back our claim up though. Besides being Fee-Only and a Fiduciary, there are other ways we are client focused. We do not outsource financial planning or investment management. Our top priority is our ongoing clients, so we limit the number of new clients we take on each month. Also, our independence and use of technology allow us to offer our services at a lower cost than most brokerage and advisory firms.
Bottom Line: We provide higher standards and lower costs.
