Terrance A. Green, CFP®, MsBA

Terrance Green is the Managing Director of Blue Water Capital Management, LLC, where he has almost three decades of experience in financial planning and investment management.

Terrance earned his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Management Information Systems from Ohio University in 1995.  He began his career at the regional brokerage firm McDonald Investments working in the areas of portfolio administration, fixed-income trading, and financial planning. In 2000, Terrance became 'enlightened' and left the Wall Street world to begin working as an independent financial advisor in San Diego.  He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP) in 2002.

Terrance founded Blue Water Capital Management, LLC in 2003 and switched to the fee-only model to better serve its clients.  In 2009, he earned a Master’s of Science (MsBA) in Entrepreneurship from San Diego State University.  Terrance and his family moved to North Carolina in 2011 to be closer to their families.  He has periodically contributed to publications in both California and North Carolina, and has appeared in the San Diego Union Tribune, Money, Kiplinger’s, and Investment News.

Terrance and his family live in Holly Springs.  Both of his kids play ice hockey, with his daughter currently on the Jr Canes AAA Girls team.  When not at an ice rink, they enjoy a variety of outdoor activities together including camping, kayaking, biking, and trips to the mountains and beach.
