Can you provide an example of the advisory fees?

If your portfolio had an average daily balance of $3,000,000, the first $2 million would be billed at 0.20% for the quarter, which is one-fourth of the annual 0.80% rate, and the next $1 million would be billed at 0.15%. In this example, the quarterly fee would be $5,500.

What types of clients would be a good fit to work with you?

We believe we provide strong value for people who are nearing or in retirement with an investment portfolio of $1,250,000 or more, higher-income or higher-saving individuals with a portfolio of $1,000,000 or more, and those who want a higher level of personalized attention and more competitive advisory fees than what is typically offered by advisors who charge 1% or more and use higher-cost investment products.

These are included in our management. We use account aggregation software to work with accounts not held at Schwab.

Question 4

Are there any other fees I should know about?

Accepted Answer

There are no upfront or deferred sales charges. However, each fund charges an expense ratio that is reflected in performance, and that is how fund companies are paid. We try to keep these expenses as low as possible, and most of our portfolios have an overall expense ratio under 0.20%. For the most part, there are no transaction fees. A few mutual funds have transaction fees ranging from $7 to $15, but these are not used often. The custodian receives those transaction fees. If you require tax preparation or estate planning documents, we can refer you to trusted professionals, and those services would involve separate fees.

Do you ever just do a one-time financial review?

Accepted Answer

Due to the time-intensive nature of a full financial plan, we generally do not offer that as a stand-alone service. However, we may occasionally take on a smaller project such as a portfolio review or insurance analysis. Our hourly rate is $350, and we provide a quote based on the time involved.
